* We have received reports that general cargo ship, ERA (IMO:8710998), experienced an engine failure in a position northwest of Kithira Island, Greece on 22 April 2024.

* It is reported that the vessel was subsequently taken under tow to Gythion port, Greece for inspection and possibly, repairs.

* It is possible that General Average/Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
