YM PIONEER

* We have received reports that bulk carrier YM PIONEER (IMO: 9902548) ran aground whilst navigating in the area of Bahia Blanca port, Argentina on 23 April 2024.

* It is reported that the vessel was refloated with assistance from a tug and is now at anchor off Bahia Blanca, Argentina, presumably for inspection.

* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
