* We have received reports that Bulk carrier GDYNIA (IMO:9594248), experienced an engine failure in a position approximately 22.5 nautical miles from Butt of Lewis, UK, on 22 May 2024.

* It is reported that the vessel moved to anchor at Scapa Flow pending inspection and possibly repairs.

* It is possible that General Average / Salvage and associated Recovery issues may arise as a result of this casualty.

* We therefore recommend that you contact us urgently if you are concerned with any cargo on board this vessel so that we can immediately start taking steps to protect your interests.
